Top 5 Best Date Spots

Date nights are one of the most important nights of the week, so why drop the ball when it comes to picking a restaurant. We came up with a list of our favorite spots that have the perfect atmosphere and menu to impress your date.  The restaurants range from French, to  wine bars, to Moroccan, and Italian, we hope you enjoy these places as much as we do!

The Otheroom: West Village-  This is a great spot for after your second or third date. It is located on Perry St between Washington St and Greenwich St. The Otheroom is a cozy, dark lounge where you can enjoy a few drinks. Just remember this is a beer and wine only place, so make sure your date enjoys those options.

Shalel Lounge: Upper West Side- Shalel is located on W70th between Central Park and Columbus Ave. This has a great atmosphere for dates, very romantic and intimate and they even have flower petals leading into the basement. The food and wine are fabulous as well. For all the foodies out there, their bacon wrapped dates, the lamb cigars, and  baba ganoush are so amazing.

Grape and Grain: East Village- Grape and Grain is a great find in the East Village, it is located on E6th between Avenue B and C. It’s a great tapas place and they have a wide range of wines.  One of my favorite things about this spot is they have local art hanging up.

UVA: Upper East Side- This is an Italian restaurant located on 78th and 2nd Ave.  The inside is very cozy and romantic with chandlers hanging along with exposed brick. However, if you want to be outside they have a garden out back. The menu is delicious, the Truflle Flat Bread and Burrata Barese are a must! UVA will make you feel like you stepped off the streets of NYC and entered Italy for a meal.

Antibes Bistro: Lower East Side- This French Jazz restaurant is located on Suffolk St between Delancey St and Rivington St. The atmosphere here is very romantic for date nights, it is on the quiet side of Delancey, so don’t let the location scare you away. The food and drinks are reasonable prices. If you are daring the Seared Foie Gras melts in your mouth, for the not so daring I’d go for the mushroom risotto or the chicken.

If these aren’t in your neighborhood, don’t worry search ‘Date Spot’ and what part of the city you’d like to dine at and we’ll help you! Don’t forget to review the establishments!

Cheers
