Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend 2014

So you were lucky enough to get that coveted seat on the Jitney, or express bus to paradise.  You will be sitting in traffic like the rest of the masses but at least you can read a book or watch a movie and of course plan your Weekend.  We are here to help.

75 MAIN – 75 MAIN is open 7 days and nights a week for breakfast, brunch and dinner. The lounge is open Thursday through Saturday nights now that summer is here.  75 main’s outdoor seating overlooks the main street, affording one of the best views in all of the Hamptons.   They boast one of the most intimate, yet energetic, dance floors in the Hamptons surrounded by lush table seating and an expansive bar.

Boardy Barn – Their party started in 1970 and hasn’t stopped since.  They kick off Sunday the 25th by opening at noon.  Their Memorial Day celebration is one that shouldn’t be missed.  Doors open at 3pm on the 26th with $1 Cups from 4-6!

Coast Grill – It’s Saturday morning and you haven’t had time to shop yet.  Head over to Coast Grill in Southampton for Brunch.  It’s the first time they have been serving what most  believe to be a staple of the Weekend.  You can enjoy your Bloody Mary or Mimosa in a waterfront setting.

Indian Wells Tavern – Located in the heart of historic Amagansett, Indian Wells Tavern offers affordable and tasty fare for the whole family, in a relaxed and comfortable setting.  Saturday nights the DJ starts at 10pm with a $5 cover and $6 drink specials.

New Moon Cafe – In East Quogue swing by New Moon Cafe for some killer BBQ.  They have been bringing their Texas flavors to Hamptons locals for over 35 years.  You can enjoying things like brisket, ribs, chicken and shrimp.  Since Texas is also known for their Tex-Mex they also offer a variety of fajitas, tacos and burritos.

South Pointe – South Pointe is known for having the best Electronic Dance Music in the Hamptons. Building on their pristine reputation established last summer as the go-to nightlife destination for jet-set Hamptons crowd, South Pointe is ready to raise the stakes even higher this summer.  With over 7,000 SQUARE FEET of the most prolific heart pumping space, South Pointe is the “It” place during the summer.

World Pie – The minute you left you were craving what NYC does best, pizza.  Sure your Weekend will be filled with BBQ’s, fresh air and the sea.  If you do have that craving World Pie in Bridgehampton ranks among the best around.  The restaurant is one half dining room / bar combo, with the other half pure dining room. The atmosphere is bright and airy and is good for families, as well as shoppers and tourists who want to take a break.
