Top Irish Bars in San Francisco

Everyone is a wee bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, so go out and celebrate and watch the Parade Saturday 11 AM- 5 PM on 2nd and Market Street.  After the Parade, continue the celebrations at these Irish bars on Saturday and Sunday:

Irish Bank: Opening up at 9 AM for the 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day block party 2 day celebration. Both Saturday and Sunday
Traditional Irish music and Celtic rock begins at noon, along with The Shams going till 3 PM. Followed up Bog Savages till 6 PM and after the party continues with DJ Pat playing till midnight!

Ireland 32: The party starts at 3 PM Saturday with Adrian Derwin Ceili Band follwed by Tickt to Ride Beatles cover band. The party continues with DJ Peter Scooper. Sunday 2:30 PM Terry O Savastano Gallowglasses will play followed by Hardcore w/ DJ P O’Neill.

Martin Macks: This Gastropub opens up Saturday and Sunday at 10 AM. Go in and enjoy one of there 17 draughts or a craft cocktail, paired with some seasonal gastro food.

Maggy McGarry’s: The party start Saturday at 4:30 PM with Night Train followed  by Cover Me Badd at 10 PM. Sunday is Paddy’s Day with Fast Times ’80s band starting at 5 PM.

Danny Coyle’s: Theme of the weekend is to ‘Paint the Town Black’. Head over and grab a pint of Guinness.

Durty Nellie’s: Opens at 11 AM, come enjoy pints of Guinness, Irish car bombs, and the new menu!

The Phoenix: Opens at 10 AM, enjoy some green beer and Irish celebrations.

The Plough and the Stars: Specials start at 6 PM on Sunday, with Paddy’s Dream followed up The Pat Egan Band at 9 PM.
