St Paddy’s Day in Seattle

The St Patrick’s Day parade is 3/16 and starts at 12:30 it runs along 4th Avenue between Jefferson and Seattle Center featuring bagpipers, pirates, drill teams, Irish dancers, bands and more.  The parade route ends at Seattle Center, which is where the Seattle Irish Festival takes place. The festival has lots of vendors with Irish merchandise, live dance and music, workshops and lectures, and children’s activities.  The festival is a 2 day event 3/16 and 3/17.

Can’t miss Irish Pubs to get that proper pint of Guinness.

Fado Irish Pub– 3/16 Doors open at 7:15am for the best pre-St. Patrick’s Day party! 6 Nations Rugby Super Saturday LIVE matches start early – 7:30am.  Huge Parade Post Party! Live music from Servants of the Rich and Kennedy Brothers!  3/17 Starting at 9am, they have live music from Justin, Junior on the Prowl, Servants of the Rich, and Kennedy Brothers! The Seattle Firefighter Pipe Band will be playing throughout the day!  $15 cover starts at noon!  Must be 21+ to attend the festivities.

Kells Irish Restaurant and Pub – 3/16 doors open at 10am with live music starting at 2.  3/17 they open at 9am and music starts at noon. $20 admission ( includes a free Festival T-shirt! (While supplies last) 21+ w/ ID).  An array of traditional dishes will be on the menu for this year’s festival. Corned beef, Irish stew, Ballycastle Sausage Rolls and Ethna’s Irish Soda Bread, baked daily at Kells. Other delicious dishes and refreshments will be served throughout the celebration.

Paddy Coyne’s – Celebrate St Patrick’s Day at Paddy Coyne’s where live music and a great Guinness is the draw.  Lineup for 3/17 is Erin MacNamee, Leo MacNamara, Seattle Police Pipes and Drums and Seattle Irish Dance Company.

The Celtic Swell – The Celtic Swell is Irish built, owned and operated. It is their sincere desire to bring a little piece of Ireland to you.  Just like in Ireland, the whole family is warmly welcome. They have 3 days of festivities starting Friday including Irish music, dancing, contests and prizes.  Flat prices on drinks and limited menu items.

T.S McHughes Restaurant – St Patrick’s Day is a 3 day event at T.S McHughes starting 3/15 They begin St. Patrick’s Day weekend with live music 8-1:30am by  Creeping Time. Creeping Time’s music spans the gap between your grandfather’s bluegrass and modern rocket science. 3/16 is an encore by Creepy Time who have played each year for 6 or more years.  Again from 8-1:30am and no cover for either show.  3/17 they open early and offer a special St Patrick’s day menu and live music by Claypipe and Creeping Time. Music begins late morning and goes ’til the wee hours. There will be a cover for the bar, but not for the dining rooms.
