Their wine list rotates monthly, save for a few house favorites. They offer you a plethora of different grapes from diverse regions of the world. They have a daily Happy Hour and all day Monday and Sunday where you can get $10 off any bottle of wine. They also offer a fantastic seasonal menu with tasty bites like Jambalaya Risotto and Fig and Prosciutto flatbreads and don’t forget about their shared plate options.
Cru –Cru has two Austin locations Downtown in the 2nd street district and in Northwest Austin. They offer an unparalleled by the bottle wine list and a wide-range and ever-changing list of wines available in tasting flights or by the glass. Add to this a dinner menu and a plush comfortable atmosphere worthy of better fine dining restaurants and you have an unbeatable experience. Cru is the place when you want to see and be seen and provide your guests with an unforgettable experience. Both locations offer a week day Happy Hour.
House Wine – If your in South Austin stop into House Wine. It’s unpretentious and inclusive as Austin itself. Their delicious and intriguing wines are thoughtfully chosen from vineyards all over the world! Head here often because their wine selection is constantly changing. The food menu is simple yet delectable, they offer cheese plates to Mediterranean plates. Perfect pairings for great wine. House Wine has fantastic specials 7 days a week and live music on Saturday nights.
Uncorked Tasting Room and Wine Bar – Uncorked Tasting Room and Wine Bar is located in East Austin in the Cherrywood neighborhood. They offer their customers an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and experience as it relates to the world of wine with themed wine tastings and wine classes on a weekly basis. They offer some tapas options as well as a small but tasty menu or larger bites. Either way you won’t have a problem pairing your food with any of their 86 bottles of wine.
Vino Vino – Located in Hyde Park Vino Vino offers 22 wines by the glass along with an impressive wine list. The perfectly lit bar makes for a great date spot. The menu balances out your experience here by offering Wine bar staples such as charcuteries $15 to scallops, creamer peas, bacon, peppers, garlic, cream $23. If meat is what your looking for we suggest the wagyu flatiron steak, sweet potato, arugula, porcini butter $21. To prove they mean business as a Wine Bar they don’t offer Decaf or Tea. Vino Vino’s Happy Hour runs Monday-Friday from 5:30-7 $2 off any glass of wine, $2 off well drinks, 1/2 priced draft beer, 1/2 priced appetizer options.
