Inside the Fleur Room – NYC
The Fleur Room rooftop lounge on the 35th floor of the Moxy Hotel in Chelsea made its debut earlier this month and this space is nothing short of decadent. The legendary TAO Group and Bianchi collaborated to open a bar that is mesmerizing in style, views, and ambiance. The floor-to-ceiling 360-degree views of the Empire State Building, New York Harbor, and other iconic staples are breathtaking. And a bonus, when the weather is warm the glass walls retract at the push of a button to reveal an open-air veranda 35 stories in the air.
The Rockwell Group designed the lounge to embrace a botanical theme. There are rich floral fabrics in the chairs, couches, and rugs, a copper bar, rich green walls, a water droplet chandelier, and beautiful flower bouquets decorating every surface. There was also some vintage glamour added with a giant disco ball rotating all night – straight from the 1980s Lose Angeles nightclub Vertigo.
The Fleur Room offers signature cocktails and unique bar-bites such as truffle grilled cheese and king crab sandwiches. On Monday they are open from 5PM-midnight, and Tuesday through Saturday they’re open from 5PM-4AM. Sundays the Fleur Room is closed. Live DJs spin every night from Tuesday through Saturday so bring your dancing shoes and enjoy a night out on the town!
