Open Bar Events in DC
A little infatuation of ours is keeping those motions of reaching for your wallet to a minimal amount. And the bar community in DC does a great job at that too. Happy hours and daily specials, but it’s the open bar policies that get us off the edge of our seats.
Here are some known open bar events currently taking place:
Kelly’s Irish Times – One of the top Irish pubs in the lands of DC, Kelly’s also is an establishment that puts its guest ahead of themselves. Providing an energetic atmosphere and wondrous drink specials throughout the entire week, on Saturday’s they offer an “All-You-Care-to-Drink” special of Miller Light and Blue Moon products from 8-11pm – for $15.

Policy – Let’s be honest, we are starting to loathe the days of Thursday because of our daily monitoring of our Facebook and Instagram newsfeeds, but Policy’s Throwback Thursday makes many long for it. Kicking off the weekend early at the Policy lounge, a favorite among numerous groups and individuals, is their themed night out with classic old beats spun by the live DJ from 9pm-1am. As if that isn’t enough, the open bar exists from 10-11pm, with drink specials throughout the entire night afterwards. Strap those dancing shoes on tight, because at the Policy your Thursday’s just got better.
