Greens, like beans resemble money. And beans more specifically resemble coins. They’re healthy, rich in protein, and are fiber-filled to soak up all of that alcohol you’ll be drinking! If I were you, I would definitely stock up on these foods. There’s nothing like a New Year filled with more money than last year!
2. Noodles and Grains

Noodles symbolize long life so, the longer the noodles the better! Slurp them whole, for good fortune and a long, healthy life. Maybe try some Ramen? My favorite food group ever (It’s a food group now!) Grains such as rice, quinoa, and barley symbolize abundance. Fish also share the luck of abundance because they swim in schools.

The pomegranate is a popular fruit to eat on New Year’s because the many seeds represent prosperity. Figs symbolize fertility, and grapes are eaten to represent days of the future. On New Year’s Eve, Mexicans eat a grape for every stroke of midnight, representing a page from the calendar.
I wish you a healthy, happy, prosperous New Year!
